The Linux folk recently released a driver as part of the ALSA sound project code. I thought I might take a stab at porting that, but to be honest I'm out of my depth when it comes to the FreeBSD sound subsystem - I should probablt restrict my interest to getting an Ethernet driver working for the Conexant LANfinity chipset in my laptop. But I would be interested to know if support is likely to come soon (else I guess I'll be buying 4Front's OSS package in January when they release a FreeBSD version with Allegro support). regards Gram -- Dr Graham Wheeler E-mail: gram@cequrux.com Director, Research and Development WWW: http://www.cequrux.com CEQURUX Technologies Phone: +27(21)423-6065 Firewalls/VPN Specialists Fax: +27(21)424-3656 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hardware" in the body of the message
