No, Xorg starts and works as normal until I start playing some videos (fire=
fox,
mplayer -vo xv or -vo gl) and keep watching for a few minutes.
The duration until Xorg gets stuck varies from time to time.

Sorry for unclear wording.
I mean that Xorg seems to call ioctl either too frequently or ioctl busy-lo=
ops
inside drm (I'm not certain).

Nothing special.

I never thought xf86-video-intel still defaults to DRI2!
I'll test the v7.3 with DRI3 enabled first, then will try v8.
