Hi Leo,

I'd try to get upgraded to 3.1-RELEASE (or better -STABLE) if you
really loaded from a 3.0-RELEASE CD.  That particular version was
really intended for developers (according to the release notes).

Bash isn't installed with the base system, you'll need to load
from a package (I prefer to build from sources using a port).
