I'm not going to replace all PORTVERSION-hacking cases with the real ones.
I only do it when the upstream already released several versions in current
format of version number.
Take this one for example, there are only 4 versions on CPAN. They
are 0.004007, 0.004008, 0.004009 and 0.004010.
