My advice is this: From looking around, it appears that getting the WaveLAN cards working on an installed system is not trivial. If you're new (which I suspect you are), then I would *strongly* suggest that you not try installing from this card. Rather, pick up a CD or a standard PCI Ethernet card and install like that. (If you're strapped, I have CDs that I give away for *free*, modulo shipping, to students who need them.) Then, you can try to get the wireless card working. Note that the Linux drivers with the card will not work in FreeBSD, but FreeBSD does have its own drivers.
