Your question may not have been answered because no one reading the
list has successfully done what you're asking. My advice is this:
From looking around, it appears that getting the WaveLAN cards working
on an installed system is not trivial. If you're new (which I suspect
you are), then I would *strongly* suggest that you not try installing
from this card. Rather, pick up a CD or a standard PCI Ethernet card
and install like that. (If you're strapped, I have CDs that I give
away for *free*, modulo shipping, to students who need them.) Then,
you can try to get the wireless card working.

Note that the Linux drivers with the card will not work in FreeBSD,
but FreeBSD does have its own drivers. Quoting LINT:

# wl: Lucent Wavelan (ISA card only).
# wi: Lucent WaveLAN/IEEE 802.11 PCMCIA adapters. Note: this supports
# both the PCMCIA and ISA cards: the ISA card is really a PCMCIA
# to ISA bridge with a PCMCIA adapter plugged into it.

(I seem to recall your other message asking something to that effect.)

Lucas
