Howdy, longtime Linux user here, finally starting to play with FreeBSD. Having a problem getting it installed... I have a USB Microsoft Natural Keyboard connected to an Intel SE440BX-2 motherboard. The keyboard works fine in the BIOS setup and in Linux booted from a CD. Booting with a 6.0-RELEASE-i386-bootonly.iso CD gives me no keyboard functionality at all. I've tried enabling and disabling "legacy USB support" in the BIOS; no difference. I'm thinking that maybe if I set ukbd_load=3D"YES" in /boot/defaults/loader.conf.local, the keyboard might work. But there is no mention of modifying the installation media (either floppy or CD) in either the Handbook or the Installation Instructions. Obviously I can't press a key during the boot sequence to enter commands. I've searched the mailing lists but can't find anybody with a problem like this before. Anybody have any ideas, besides get a PS/2 keyboard? Thanks! Kenyon
