Sorry if this is the wrong place to send this. If it is, please let me know where I can send this. So I upgraded to -stable last week, and have started having problems such as the one you see below. Aside from the fact that the error message from newsyslog is next to worthless, I have a hunch that this is due to a particular class in login.conf that root crontab jobs run under. What class would this be? How would I determine that? I'm also seeing "out of memory" errors when I reboot right when it goes to fsck a 4 gig disk. Again, my suspician is login.conf restrictions. Any ideas? Thanks!
