Or, perhaps that was TrueOS -- I'm evaluating FreeBSD, TrueOS, Lumina 
and Xfce, and they all have X.org bugs.  I've downloaded 
debian-9.1.0-amd64-xfce-CD-1.iso and will evaluate that next.
