I'm sorry, it wasn't for me.
I installed postfix from ports and stopped sendmail, postfix still didn't start though (it had port 25 open, but didn't respond to it).
Eventually I reverted to sendmail.

I'm on FreeBSD 5.0 BTW.

I do have postfix running fine on Linux, I might add.
