There seems to be a problem with the xorg-server package as currently=20
available in the packages-6-stable directories on the ftp mirrors - it fail=
s=20
to initialize a display due to an error in its vty handling code.=20

I wonder if perhaps something changed on pointyhat that causes some kind of=
=20
buildtime misconfiguration there. Does xorg-server perhaps probe around=20
in /proc?

Cheers,
