Use "mount" (not mount_ufs). It mounts UFS by default.
If you wanna use another FS, you should load kernel module - use
kldload with full path to kernel module.
For example, if you wanna load ext2fs module, type
kldload /dist/boot/kernel/ext2fs.ko
mount -t ext2fs <device> <mountpoint>
