The XFree86-clients port has the file lib/X11/xdm/Xsetup_0 listed in its packing list, which forces xconsole to start with xdm. I don't
like this setting, so I comment that out, but it gets overwritten every time I upgrade the port. It seems to me that this should be
installed as Xsetup_0.sample (as per the recommendation in part 15.15 of the Porter's Handbook).
