I have tried installing FreeBSD 4.6 on my machine numerous times, and have been unsucessfull everytime.Iv'e downloaded the iso's, ive had them copied by other people, and i just recieved a different copy today. And to my dismay i found the same problem. It boots off the cd, begins installation, formats partitions, and lets me select all the appropriate configurations. When it begins extracting the files to the / partition, it just freezes, and goes no where. Im running a AMD Duron 1 Ghz / 512 megs ram, are there any recorded "bugs" with AMD? Any help would be greatly appreciated Yours Sincerely Jonathan _______________________________________________________________ http://www.webmail.co.za the South-African free email service To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
