i cvsup'd a few days ago to 4.8 from 4.7

ever since, i've been receiving the following message repeatedly in root's email security reports

Apr 17 15:00:01 xhostname sm-mta[58360]: alias database /etc/mail/aliases.db out of
+date


how did this happen?
