I use apache 2.2, which comes with SSL.  All you have to do is create/sign
the certificate and configure the file httpd.conf.  I've used the same setup
from FreeBSD 6.* to FreeBSD 7.1.

A quick google for 'apache2 ssl freebsd' led me here:
