Most definitely - never have it on, as a matter of fact.

WEP is only running to [marginally<g>] secure the link between wi0 and the
AP that's 10 miles away.

I've yet to ever have a problem with wi0 (the 192.168.10.x network in this
case).


It's wi1 that I can't "talk" to.  :-(
