this is much worse than i thought.  it appears *every* directory
in the packages-4-stable for alpha has identical files to All rather
than symlinks as other packages trees have.

can someone please fix this on ftp-master.  it's severely broken
IMHO and leading to needless disk space being used on mirrors
i'd assume.
