Madge does have Linux drivers but it's for an older kernel. I ended up using an IBM Token Ring card and Redhat linux. The drivers are already included in the latest kernel. According to Madge they do not ship the 3140v1 anymore. Good luck. The oltr driver currently in FreeBSD doesn't recognize this specific card (even if I modify the pci detection it still fails within the binary driver). When looking at Madge's website it seems that they have an open source Linux driver (http://www.madge.com/downloads-software-other.asp). My question is, is somebody already porting this driver to FreeBSD or is there some other solution to get this card to work?
