Hi all,

Can somebody give me input on how to migrate master.passwd entries
from FreeBSD 2.0.5R to 2.1R. I have tried to append my master.passwd
entries but all I'm getting is:
"login incorrect"
In the installation manual there is nothing mentioned about specific
procedure :-(

What will login from 2.1R do, if I enter password longer then 8 chars
and master.passwd entry is migrated from 2.0.5R, which truncates passwords? Does it
give an "login incorrect" output?

TIA,
