Yep, just omit the keyboard. Works fine (on my SS5, and used to work on
my IPC as well).

Yep female, but IIRC the pin layout is standard.

Whatever you prefer. I tend to use 'tip' which is part of the base
system.

Hmm, nothing special I remember. The connector on the NoName mainboard
has a 'special' pinout compared to what PC mainboards have.
