I have been trying to get this to work for 3 days could someone help? I have a freebsd box(10.0.0.1) networked with windows 95 box(10.0.0.2) via a hub. ie. freebsd -> hub <- windows I can ping the windows box(10.0.0.2) from the freebsd box(10.0.0.1),but CANNOT ping the freebsd box(10.0.0.1) from the windows box(10.0.0.2) The link lights on the NICs and the hub are on, so the cable connection is working just fine. When I ping the freebsd box(10.0.0.1) I get: ------ C:\WINDOWS>ping 10.0.0.1 Pinging 10.0.0.1 with 32 bytes of data: Request timed out. Request timed out. Request timed out.
