This file is the component registry that is created during the post-build of Mozilla. You might try running the following commands as root to recreate it: (cd /usr/X11R6/lib/mozilla; \ env LD_LIBRARY_PATH=3D. MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME=3D. ./regxpcom; \ env LD_LIBRARY_PATH=3D. MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME=3D. ./regchrome) You might also try doing a chmod 0444 on this file after recreation.
