This one I will have to defer to Justin on, I've seen it before and I
think it was just a bug in the code that he fixed, you may have an
old version of the code (you failed to even mention what version of
FreeBSD you are running :-().

Yes.

The one in the higher numbered PCI slot on ASUS boards will be the boot device.

Same story, the one in the higher numbered PCI slot will be the boot device.

The 2940UW should be able to handle all devices at all speeds at the
