Hrrm.  I haven't run WP under dosemu; I know Word 5.5 takes anything
up to a minute to start, but "minutes"; no, I suspect something is wrong.

You might want to look at the EMS emulator on the off chance that it's
not got enough memory & isn't being sensible enough to tell you.
