Yes it does but is still 32-bit binaries.
the simultaneous executability of 32-bit and 64-bit apps
has been in solaris since the release of Solaris 7. ( 1998 ? )

$ uname -a
SunOS rigel 5.9 Generic_117171-07 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Blade-1500
$ isainfo -k
sparcv9
$ isainfo -v
64-bit sparcv9 applications
32-bit sparc applications
$ pwd
/opt/staroffice8-beta/program
$ file soffice.bin
soffice.bin:	ELF 32-bit MSB executable SPARC32PLUS Version 1, V8+ Require=
d, dynamically linked, stripped
