        produced yards of useless output

        The input file to groff was:
        .H 1 "TEST OF mm PACKAGE"
        This is a simple text file
        .I "to test"
        the possibility of
        .B troff " or " nroff
        being printed by
        -Tpost
        on
        .I hp
        deskjet

        The output file is available if required (it is longer) but
        I noticed it it headed %!PS-Adobe-3.0
