Could you give me a brief overview (or pointers to a description) of the
process used to create the boot.flp image? That is, I'm not looking for
instructions on how to dd the image from the CD-ROM to a floppy; I
wonder how the image on the CD-ROM was built.

We're using the 2.1.0 release, and we want to get it up on a Compac
Prosignia 300 which has a NCR 810 PCI SCSI card. The kernel that is on
the boot floppy doesn't know about such a thing, but the sources look
like we could build a kernel that does. Then we need to create a boot
floppy with our kernel.
