The initial learning curve for UNIX and X is *much* steeper, but once 
you get the hang of configuration and setup you will find yourself doing 
system integration tasks you never dreamed of (can you say cluster 
servers? <g>) and you will try to ditch all your Novell and Micros**t 
boxes. FreeBSD is especially well suited for Internet hosting, and 
everything (almost) is free, but be prepared to spend some time 
learning.
