Hereīs a recent comment from Wietse Venema, who knows a thing or two about 
huge file systems under stress, in response to a userīs problem with postfix:

"You are welcome to reproduce this problem on a non-Reiserfs file
system. Until then I will ignore the problem report."

With an endorsement like that.....   :)))
