But it is also a verb "to hoover". Hasn't Un*x* achieved the same status ? Conversation: "I am just going to Unix for a while" "Oh what brand of Unix do you use ?" "Oh, FreeBSD of course, I find it reaches parts other unixes just don't reach". Or you could just do a "Prince" on it. "FreeBSD, the operating system formerly known as Unix". There are only two testis of whether a system is a Unix or not, and Windows NT probably would not pass them. Does it have an editor called "ed" available ?
