Hello all,

I'm currently looking around for new challenges, and figured this list
could be a good instrument to reach a number of interesting companies.

My background is three years of research, design and implementation of
networking algorithms, systems and protocols. My current employer has
products in the fields of IP routing, firewalls and packet
classification, parts of which I have had a central role in developing
from the ground up. I have also taken part in sales and marketing
activities, including customer meetings, media appearances etc.

Quite a bit of my programming experience has been in the NetBSD
kernel, mostly (obviously) including the network stack.

Geographically, I am located in the SF Bay Area, and I am looking for
work within reasonable commuting distance from San Mateo. On US-101 that
would mean down to Mountain View, on I-280(+85) it could mean as far
as San Jose. Just east of San Mateo Bridge would also be possible.

I am not especially interested in system or network administration,
end user application or CGI/Web/Java programming. Apart from that I am
open to suggestions!

My resume is available for anyone who requests it, however I will not
include it in this mailing.

My legal status is US permanent resident, so there is no need for visa
sponsorship.

Regards,

Olof Johansson
