Indeed. My workaround was to ditch the USB-ATA device, and just get one that was umass compliant (SanDisk). However, I just bought a SmartMedia disk for my MPMan. What a pain. Maybe I should get a SecureMate. Or better still, a PCMCIA->SmartMedia adaptor. Much pain. I even mailed OnSpec nearly a month back asking for datasheets. Response was nada.
