There is a directory called kde2, though, which has what I'm guessing would be the contents of that tar file (ie. it looks like my /usr/ports/x11/kde2 directory, but it's 2.0.1 rather than 2.0). I tried grabbing the directory and sticking it into /usr/ports/x11, but when I make install it sees my existing 2.0 installation, thinks its prereqs are met (it's a "meta-port"), and doesn't upgrade my stuff. However, pkg_info now returns a line for kde-2.0.1 as well as kde-2.0. Please, bring on the cluestick beating.
