I've actually taken the 5.0.4 ports that Jung-uk Kim had created and made the fixes to them to make 5.0.16 compile with them. The only reason I have yet to submit the updated port is because virtualbox-ose-additions still doesn't compile and I haven't had a chance to fully fix that yet. I have no intention of taking over maintenance of the port, unless needed, but I do want to help get 5.x into the ports tree, so once I have all the ports compiling, I'll submit a PR to get the port updated. There is no need to take over maintainership for it but there are currently only very few people which are taking care of vbox so every helping hand and contribution is very welcome. I've been using ZFS in both 10.x and Current and it was working without tmpfs For testing I used tmpfs on "/ram" and change the link line on devfs.conf which is now: # link shm link /ram shm And sublime works fine like this. In any case I can adapt the port message to check for this or maybe even add a better way to check it in sublime.sh And many thanks for the ktrace/kdump parameters those should prove handy in futther debugging of linux ports :) From owner-freebsd-emulation@freebsd.org Mon Mar 7 16:30:21 2016 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-emulation@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id D3524AC3299 for ; Mon, 7 Mar 2016 16:30:21 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from dchagin@chd.heemeyer.club) Received: from heemeyer.club (heemeyer.club [108.61.204.158]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256/256 bits)) (Client CN "heemeyer.club", Issuer "heemeyer.club" (not verified)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 916FB82A for ; Mon, 7 Mar 2016 16:30:20 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from dchagin@chd.heemeyer.club) Received: from chd.heemeyer.club (dchagin.static.corbina.ru [78.107.232.239]) by heemeyer.club (8.15.2/8.15.1) with ESMTPS id u27GUFv9014543 (version=TLSv1.2 cipher=ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 bits=256 verify=OK); Mon, 7 Mar 2016 16:30:18 GMT (envelope-from dchagin@chd.heemeyer.club) X-Authentication-Warning: heemeyer.club: Host dchagin.static.corbina.ru [78.107.232.239] claimed to be chd.heemeyer.club Received: from chd.heemeyer.club (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by chd.heemeyer.club (8.15.2/8.15.1) with ESMTPS id u27GUEbj004412 (version=TLSv1.2 cipher=ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 bits=256 verify=NO); Mon, 7 Mar 2016 19:30:15 +0300 (MSK) (envelope-from dchagin@chd.heemeyer.club) Received: (from dchagin@localhost) by chd.heemeyer.club (8.15.2/8.15.2/Submit) id u27GUEwq004411; Mon, 7 Mar 2016 19:30:14 +0300 (MSK) (envelope-from dchagin) Date: Mon, 7 Mar 2016 19:30:14 +0300 From: Chagin Dmitry To: Miguel C Cc: "freebsd-emulation@freebsd.org" Subject: Re: Sublime no longer working on FreeBSD CURRENT Message-ID: <20160307163014.GA4366@chd.heemeyer.club> References: <20160306013429.GA9032@chd.heemeyer.club> <20160307073147.GA4152@chd.heemeyer.club> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline In-Reply-To: User-Agent: Mutt/1.5.24 (2015-08-30) X-BeenThere: freebsd-emulation@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.21 Precedence: list List-Id: Development of Emulators of other operating systems List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Mon, 07 Mar 2016 16:30:21 -0000 On Mon, Mar 07, 2016 at 03:21:38PM +0000, Miguel C wrote: > Melhores Cumprimentos // Best Regards > ----------------------------------------------- > *Miguel Clara* > *IT - Sys Admin & Developer* > > On Mon, Mar 7, 2016 at 7:31 AM, Chagin Dmitry wrote: > > > On Mon, Mar 07, 2016 at 01:42:46AM +0000, Miguel C wrote: > > > https://dpaste.de/ucXY > > > > > > It seems to fail do to missing "shm" but this should work with the link > > to > > > tmp on devfs.conf, or at least it did before. > > > > > yes, it's related to the /dev/shm. please, mount tmpfs to the /tmp, ie put > > tmpfs /tmp tmpfs rw,size=1g,mode=1777 0 0 > > to the /etc/fstab > > > > > > > Hum I see, was this changed recently? Sublime Text 3 can not function without it, you need to set up a link from /dev/shm to a suitable place, e.g. by adding the following line to /etc/devfs.conf (takes effect on each boot - restart devfs to apply then change now): link /tmp shm " exit 1; fi Which would still pass (wrongfully) cause tmp was not using tmpfs, but I guess that won't be needed anymore, still probably best to keep it for freebsd 10.x From owner-freebsd-emulation@freebsd.org Tue Mar 8 07:36:55 2016 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-emulation@mailman.ysv.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:1900:2254:206a::19:1]) by mailman.ysv.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 2651EAC7BD5 for ; Tue, 8 Mar 2016 07:36:55 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from nbe@renzel.net) Received: from nijmegen.renzel.net (mx1.renzel.net [195.243.213.130]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id CA270ED0 for ; Tue, 8 Mar 2016 07:36:53 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from nbe@renzel.net) Received: from dublin.vkf.isb.de.renzel.net (unknown [10.0.0.80]) by nijmegen.renzel.net (smtpd) with ESMTP id 0BDD0141480F for ; Tue, 8 Mar 2016 08:33:07 +0100 (CET) Received: from asbach.renzel.net (unknown [172.18.96.1]) by dublin.vkf.isb.de.renzel.net (Postfix) with ESMTP id 00F57A9915 for ; Tue, 8 Mar 2016 08:33:06 +0100 (CET) From: Nils Beyer To: freebsd-emulation@freebsd.org Subject: citrix_ica - "wfica" generates deadlock in linux_sys_futex...
