I have run BOTH Red Hat and Slackware along with my FreeBSD system.  Now,
I happen to be running NetBSD instead of Linux on my spare space (but that
is for work.)

IMO, I tend to like Red Hat more, mostly because of it's market size.  You
might try Slackware, partially because they are being supported by some of
the same folks who are supporting us...
