Thanks for the quick reply ! We just bought 4 Pentiums HT servers and the person that bought them assumed that because windows Xp has no drivers for it, no-os-else does ! what a bummer ! Worst of all was me, that fell for it, and that have been using Free since 2.2.8, and should have looked into the Docs before posting here ! Sorry for that and thanks for not flaming me ! -- //| //|| // | // || -//--//---|| ARIO LOBO // // || --------------------------------- mario.lobo@ipad.com.br http://www.ipad.com.br On 30 Dec 2004 at 14:58, Peter Pentchev wrote: > On Thu, Dec 30, 2004 at 09:53:49AM -0300, mario.lobo@ipad.com.br wrote: > > Hi everyone ! > > > > I hope all had a nice Xmas and I wish a happy new year to you all !! > > > > I?m not sure I saw this issue here before but is there support for the > > Adaptec Ultra 320 (29320) scsi controller on FreeBSD 5.3 ? > > > > I know it is a new controller. > > According to the CVS history of the src/sys/dev/aic7xxx/ahd_pci.c file, > the 'ahd' driver (which supports Adaptec Ultra 320) was added to FreeBSD > about two and a half years ago :) > > http://cvsweb.FreeBSD.org/src/sys/dev/aic7xxx/ahd_pci.c > > G'luck, > Peter > > -- > Peter Pentchev roam@ringlet.net roam@cnsys.bg roam@FreeBSD.org > PGP key: http://people.FreeBSD.org/~roam/roam.key.asc > Key fingerprint FDBA FD79 C26F 3C51 C95E DF9E ED18 B68D 1619 4553 > This sentence is false. >
