I agree, that'd be useful and AFAICT such a feature doesn't exist.  I
may take a look at this, but contributions are certainly welcome too.

In addition to the line numbers, there should be a <a name="lXX">XX</a>
for all lines so that one can point to them using #lXX in URLs.  Even
better if the line referred to in this way would be somehow
highlighted...
