no package but in ports ....
a solution that don't depnds on your logfiles.

$ cd /usr/ports/mail/popa3d && make SMTP_AFTER_POP3=yes install
$ less /usr/local/share/doc/popa3d/POPAUTH

a popauth.m4 file for sendmail is included.
But you can uses this with other MTA's that can read berkey-db's.
