Can't tell you about lilo, because I have no experience with it. Grub is in the FreeBSD ports collection, so it should work fine for both. I haven't used Linux, but I know booteasy works for FreeBSD ;), and ISTR reading that it should do fine for Linux as well. Regarding dual booting, I recall some threads on the subject of dual booting Linux and FreeBSD, but offhand can't remember what was said. I'd suggest you do a thorough search with Google and Google Groups just to try to pick up any "gotchas."
