Do you have by chance an idea how to teach ktrace/kdump to DTRT with
traces of linux binaries? ATM we have the devel/linux_kdump port, and I
already tried to update it to a more recent kdump, but I got
sidetracked and my priority for the update has decreased a lot (apart
from that, it's tedious). A version which doesn't require a linux gcc
to build (the linux gcc is used to preprocess some linux header files,
linux_kdump itself is a FreeBSD executable) and is part of the FreeBSD
basesystem would be very nice.

In case someone wants to continue where I stopped with the port:

Bye,
Alexander.
