thanks everybody...i have installed 2d slice (of freebsd) on the same disk. the only problem was w/ compiliing new sysinstall, after i got error that (old) sysinstall (may 1999, from 3-stable) couldn't find drive. only after removing "ua.koi8-u.shift.alt" from target KEYMAPS in /usr/src/release/sysinstall/Makefile, i could "make install", otherwise i was getting this error: cc -O -pipe -march=pentiumpro -Wall -I/usr/src/release/sysinstall/../../gnu/lib/libdialog -I/usr/src/release/sysinstall -c keymap.c In file included from keymap.c:40: keymap.h:3364: `keymap_ua_koi8_u_shift_alt' undeclared here (not in a function) keymap.h:3364: initializer element is not constant keymap.h:3364: (near initialization for `keymapInfos[21].map') *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/src/release/sysinstall. this is after today's 'cvsup'. - parv To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
