FWIW, a friend from Connecticut sent me an Alpha. It was cheaper
(about $30) but it was done with the USPS because UPS wanted the
"original" boxes, or at least something labelled COMPUTER. Normal
packaging should be OK, but a HD I bought on eBay was extremely well
packed.
