Not a disconnect so much as simple aging of the announcement, sort of
like finding an old 19th-century Sears and Robuck catalog coupon for
$1 off on a buggy-whip or something. :)

In this case, Walnut Creek cannot replace the 2.1.6 disk with 2.1.7 as
2.1.7 has long since been discontinued and hsa left the inventory.

However, if you are having some specific dificulties with 2.1.6 which
you wanted 2.1.7 as a fix for, then Walnut Creek's support policy
would also kick in at that point and entitle you to a free upgrade to
whatever the currently shipping version is. Should this be the case,
simply call Walnut Creek CDROM back, state your problem with 2.1.6 and
ask for a *replacement* CD. That should do the trick.
