>Environment:

2.2-stable (as of a week ago) on one machine, 2.1.0 on another.

>Description:

Using 2.2-stable (as of a week ago), if I cd to an NFS-mounted
directory (on, say, a 2.1.0 box) that contains source code and try to
build there, the process will hang. Eventually, "df" will hang, too.

>How-To-Repeat:

From a reboot, on the 2.2-stable box I just cd to the NFS source
directory and "make". It repeatably fails somewhere between compiling
the 3rd source file and the link phase of exim-1.62, for example.
