Seems to be some confusion here. Might just be from the mail, but I can't say for sure. In all of the stuff you quote, you refer to /dev/da1 (a SCSI HDD), but your error message refers to wd2 (a IDE HDD). So, did you really use those commands with 'da1?' -- Crist J.
