If there are two distinct versions now--navigator and
communicator--maybe there should be two ports?  The split is a
notable and widely discussed change in product strategy for
Netscape.

I, for one, would not be in the *least* bit bothered by
non-functional mailto (and presumably news) URLs in exchange for
a web browser that didn't suck up every last bit of RAM and swap
space... (and I thought version 3 was a pig!)
