well i did look up on the net(google, freebsd.org, freebsd mailing list
archives) and even irc, people i asked have no idea.

freebsd 4.4 was working great for the last few months
yesterday i couldn't ssh/ftp in
today when i went to look to see what was the problem
i couldn't find anything.. rebooted and didn't connect to my isp(dsl using
pppoe) and i could ssh/ftp in
as soon as i connected to my isp i got

/kernel: session in wrong state

and couldn't ssh/ftp in

thought maybe i got cracked

did a find / -name '*' -mtime -5 -print
and everything looked fine
have plenty of hdd space....
securelevel: -1

if anyone can tell me what to do, or know a url that could help
