I know the feeling. The ports I made for the Linux emulator weren't finished
on time for R3.1. They are finished now and (of course) I like to see them
included in a next release. That, and the patches of Luoqi Chen, would
further improve (IMO) Linux emulation as a whole and enable FreeBSD to
continue to benefit from Linux' momentum (...)

So, yes, a 3.2 release soon would be good strategic move, but not without at
least the patches of Luoqi Chen. The inclusion of my ports in the next
release (which of course I definitely like to see included) is somewhat less
important.

Whether May 1st is feasable, depends on whether the patches (and ports) are
fit for inclusion before that time (ignoring all other release-related issues
for a moment) while leaving enough time to solve any unexpected problems. For
as far as my knowledge goes, I would say they are both ready for inclusion
now...

BTW: What about a list of "supported" (commercial) Linux applications under
FreeBSD, in the same way there is a list of supported hardware?
