I have just installed a FreeBSD 4.2 system and went to do some post install config - including installing some packages via ftp. However, when I log into the ftp.freebsd.org site, it tells me I need to install from a media where the INDEX is available. Shouldn't the main FTP site work for installing some extra packages?
