Sometimes means: usually after a cold boot. After the automatic reboot, the system will boot fine into normal operation. Fatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mode fault virtual address =3D 0x4 fault code =3D supervisor write, page not present instruction pointer =3D 0x8:0xc04b5a37 stack pointer =3D 0x10:0xcbf16c10 frame pointer =3D 0x10:0xcbf16c40 code segment =3D base 0x0, limit 0xfffff, type 0x1b =3D DPL 0, pres 1, def32 1, gran 1 processor eflags =3D interrupt enabled, resume, IOPL =3D 0 current process =3D 22 (irq11: rl1 vr0++) trap number =3D 12 panic: page fault Uptime: 2s ---- addr2line -e /usr/obj/usr/src/sys/KLAMATH/kernel.debug 0xc04b5a37 /usr/src/sys/dev/usb/uhci.c:1867 ---- I don't use or need the vr0 device[*], so I guess I could just remove it from the kernel configuration if those panics will continue. As no harddrives are mounted at that time, I do not have any data loss or the like, so it is currently a minor inconvenience only for me. [*] Because when I use it, I get tx/rx lost messages all over, and the=20 network access is *very* slow because of that. I had some spare=20 realteks lying around, so never bothered looking deeper into it. Perhaps someone can see anything obvious. Feel free to ask for more information, and I will try to get it for you.
